❤ Milestone ❤

Lulu is now 13 years old!
(she loves Banjo)

Kimmy holding Lulu on her Birth Day,
thirteen years ago.
 And then thirteen years later!

Papa loves to give flowers on special occasions.

 This was a perfect time!

(With 6 kids running around,  there is always a Photo Bomber)

Lulu's flowers found a perfect spot in her room.

Sisters have such a precious bond.
Ila May, the baker, baked Lulu's birthday cake.

Forget about distancing!
We HAD to be up close and personal!!
It was a milestone event!

Another milestone event,
that you all can relate to...

 Lulu has started blogging!!!!

Stop by and say Hi to her!

Where did the time go?

Stay At Home... What I'm Doing

Life has been a routine these past few weeks.
Which is good!

Tom and I do exercises together, twice a day.
I take Banjo for a walk, 3-4 times a day.
Food is cooked, baked or BBQ'd
Projects are completed.

Back gate has been repaired.

But then there are days when the routine is broken!
One day, we took the older grand kids
 for a bike ride.

Good exercise and lots of fun to be with them.

You could tell they were happy
 by all the conversations
we had while riding.

And they didn't want us to go home.

Just had to put this in...

It's almost a news worthy event
when you run out of  TP.

And another weird event..

Making masks!
(I haven't used one and probably won't.)

We all need haircuts, including Banjo.

He loves the attention and would of stayed on the table all day if I let him.

Another thing he loves is,
going for a ride in the car!

He sticks his head out the window and
let the wind blow his face.

Here he is looking at deer!

I think he thinks they are big dogs.

On our walks, he keeps discovering new things.
Here he is checking out Dandelions.

Sometimes we just enjoy the sunshine with our "pal".

EASTER 2020

Tom and I got up early and drove to a special
spot where we could watch the sunrise.

We arrived during the Blue Hour.

It was such a humbling and
moving moment, for just the two of us.
Tom read scripture as we watched the sun peek out.

Easter 2020
HE HAS RISEN!
He has risen, indeed!

Later on in the afternoon,
we joined in
 on an egg hunt.

When all the eggs had be found,
the "goods" were inspected.

(this says it all)

Keeping Busy

Project # 1

We have a back hallway with a long blank wall that you can't see from the living room.
But the kids and a few other do see it because, the toy closet is across from the "Art Gallery"  and the second bathroom.

I use this wall to hang the grand kid's drawings.
When it gets filled up, I take them down
and start all over again.

The pictures that are taken down,
get sorted by date and grandchild.

Each grandchild has their own binder.

All their pictures get put into a plastic sleeves and then into
his or hers binder.
I love looking at their artistic progress!

Banjo and I go for 3 to 4 walks a day.

There is always something that catches,
 his puppy eye!

This day he rounded the corner and saw a scooter lying on the sidewalk.

He stopped dead in his tracks!
Barked and growled at it, not knowing what he was looking at!

I had to slowly step towards it.
Then he investigated it!

On our next walk, he was OK with it.

He's still has a puppy curiosity but growing up fast.
He now lifts he leg!!

Project #2

Tom and I hung an American Flag
on our back porch.
We have a semi-busy street behind the back fence
 and with the
patio lights really make a statement.

We wanted to add a little cheer for those who drive by.
We turn them on in the morning
And again in the evening.

You can find either of us,
 on sunny days, sitting outside.

Usually, praying!

Happy Birthday Kimmy!!
Celebrating from a distance.

But we still celebrate YOU!

Our family has a funny but great tradition.
We celebrate birthdays, starting out with cake for breakfast,
followed by opening birthday presents!

Tom and I participated in the opening
 of Kimmy's presents...

On the back deck...

through the open window...

and through the screen!

It was different and a memorable way of
celebrating.

Almost like being inside, except it was COLD!

Someone didn't understand why we didn't
come in.

Others just took it as fun and different.

Actually, it was great to be this close and almost
touching them.
We are blessed to be able to do this!

Happy Birthday Kimmy!

You are loved very much!
