Cashing in - #4

This month has been full of  excitement.
Friday's have been busy with One-On-One,
Full day of fun and
Overnights with our grandchildren.

The four oldest Grandchildren received
Gift Certificates for Christmas, for an overnight and lots of fun.
They got to pick out what, where, and when, they wanted to do.
Who knew it would be such a HIT? !!!

This is Lulu!
She is 13 but soon to be 14 years old.
She is our first grandchild.

Lulu's request was to go shopping all day (😊).

For lunch she choose Chic-fil-A.
It was a cold and rainy day and the restaurant was closed for dining in.

But that didn't stop US!
Tom surprised Lulu by meetings us there, with our RV!
We set it up with a table clothe and flowers.

We went inside and ordered our meals....

and took it back for some fine
dining, inside the RV.

We were so cozy inside,
while watching everyone ordering their lunch from the drive thru.

Then it was back to shopping!
(til I dropped)

Lulu loves a good salad, so for dinner we went to
a fancy grocery store that has a magnificent salad bar.

The dining room was open!!
We all enjoyed another great meal.
Afterwards we picked out dessert from the Bakery.

Took our goodies home to enjoy while watching a movie.
Lulu's pick for a movie was
Meet Me In St. Louie (Louie),
with Judy Garland.

And what would the evening be without a game of
cards or two?

Saturday morning, Lulu cuddled up
with Banjo on the couch.

Lulu is now learning guitar,
on top of knowing how to play violin and piano.
Plus, she singing!

Lulu smiles all the time! What a happy girl!

I'm a bit sad that this month is over.
Having laughter, talking, and just more busyness,
 was such a blessing!

I know what our grandkids will get for Christmas next year!!!

Girl Dates

Girl Date #1

🌸🌷🌸🌷   Lulu    πŸŒΈπŸŒ·πŸŒΈπŸŒ·

Our favorite radio station has a "Name Contest".
They asked for a family member who has an unique name.
Well, I jumped on the phone and told them my grand daughter's name is Lulu!
And guess what?
I WON!
The prize was Lunch For Two!

Lulu and I were so excited to spend
the afternoon together, doing girly things, like lunch, shopping and
then ending our Girl Date with a hot beverage.

We started with a salad and bread stick.

Then came the
two different kinds of Vegetarian pizzas.
Personal sizes.

As you can see, it was delicious.

With the top down, we turned up the music,
and went SHOPPING!
We laughed and giggles so hard, our cheeks hurt.

s

Lulu did a blog post on our date.

Girl Date #2

πŸ’—πŸ’•πŸ’—πŸ’•  Ila May  πŸ’—πŸ’•πŸ’—πŸ’•

Ila May came over and spent the DAY with me.
Tom was out of town, so this was defiantly a
girls day together.

We started out by getting out all of my Thanksgiving Pilgrims.
Always a lot of fun to play with.
After playing, Ila arranged them around the house.

Next she dressed up!

Then it was craft time.
She got out my basket full
of all kinds of fun things.
Now I have an Angel for the top of my
Christmas tree!

We couldn't forget about Banjo!

There is a huge field that they
ran around in!

We ended the day with a
Tea Party.

Ila May went around collecting all kinds of items
to use for decorating the table.

The coffee table was set amazingly beautiful!
She used jewelry, porcelain dolls. fans, flowers, dollies and candles in champagne glasses.

I'm giving Thanks to God for he is good.
What a blessing to have spent time,
one on one with
my grand daughters.

You should see my face!
It has a HUGE smile on it.
