No Title, Just Thoughts

The sun was casting such wonderful shadows in our bedroom.

I just had to take a picture.

But when I looked closely at the picture that I took, 

I noticed something pink!

It was a sticky note that read;

I love you, 

Lulu

Perfect!

Tom and I went to the fanciest,

grocery store, I've ever been in!

Albertsons Market Place.

Somehow??  I lost Tom. 

But then found him here down this isle.

It was FULL of every kind of candy.

Both sides!
There were even displays down the middle!

Across the top of the isle, was a quote 

from Charles Schultz.

Grand KIds

Winter is coming,

 so we have to get our visits in before the snow and ice cover the ground.

Huxley is BIG!

I met Todd and family, at a cabin,
 up in the mountains.

Lots of cuddle time.

Scarlette is learning to write her name.

She's very happy with her E's!

Well, I did something I've never done before.

I took to the off roads and headed to the hills.

I learned how to drive a 

ATV

(All Terrain Vehicle)

Trey (6 years old) has his own dirt bike!

It's not a glamours look.

Safety first!

What great views!

I got so good, I could take pictures
while driving.

Not recommended, though!

Nathan needed to have a check up to see how his surgery went.

Tom and I were called for Grandpa and Grandma duty!

For two days and one night.

 we squeezed in as much fun  as possible.

Boy., they are getting big!

Mean while.....

Kimmy, Mark, Isaac and

Nathan went to Salt Lake City.

Nathan's check went great!

Soup's On....

I have a new favorite soup!

And I'm going to share it with you.

It's the Olive Garden Tuscan Soup.

(only better... haha)

I got an email asking if I would

 volunteered to make a soup

 for a church function.

After I said YES, I received 

the second email with all the details.

It said to make

12 quarts of the soup!!!

I almost fell over! 

I don't even have a 12 qt soup pot.

(I calculated 12 qts to equal 48 cups
That's a lot of soup!)

I calmed down after I talked it 

over with another "soup lady".

She said I could borrow one of her 12 qt. pots.

It turned out so yummy!

This recipe can be cut in half 

or 

you can make 12 quarts of it!
