The Stockings Were Hung By The Chimmey...

Tom and I got up early and
headed over to see the grandchildren
open their stockings.
So thankful, that they live just down the street!

Stockings are so fun!
When you get to the orange, at the toe,
you know you are done.

Kimmy did find a toy in Levi's stocking from
last year!
So she re-gifted it!

Look at the Snickers Candy Bar that Isaac got!
Somehow, I think Tom had something to do with that!

Even the stocking became
entertaining!

........................................................

Kimmy, Tom and I
headed downstairs, ahead of the grand kids.
to the Christmas tree,
where all the presents were.

Everyone was happy, excited and
thankful!

I love this picture of the kids helping
each other open gifts.

They were happy
and excited for each other.

Mark's turn!

Isaac's gift from Tom and me
was a Pendleton blanket.

Each of our grandchild has received their
 own special blanket.

This is Isaac's!
#7

Lulu handmade ALL her gifts to everyone.
When she wrapped the gift
she decided to use a code
 instead of revealing the names.

I had to take this picture.

This was my code name!

Best Christmas picture!

This was a great Christmas!

PJ's...It's a Tradition

Christmas Eve, our grandchildren
get to open ONE gift.
The parents choose the gift and
every year it's the same.

Not to sure who has caught on to this gift,
but no matter what, it's always fun to open it!

This year, one more present was added,
a book.
The pictures are focusing on Levi because
 he got his first Bible,
embossed with his name.
He has learned to read and this was a
 very special gift.

Even Isaac got new PJ's and a book.

This was a tradition that Tom and I did
when our kids were young.
I'm so happy that Kimmy and Mark
 carried it on.

Christmas Eve At The Barn

We received a foot of new snow.
The temperature was in the teens.
We all bundled up.

The barn was decorated with lights, inside and out.

The horses and goats were temporally outside.
While we huddled inside.
We arrived early and found our seats.

We sang Christmas Carols and
listened to words of hope.

I didn't get a picture of the friendly barn cat that
sat on the railings, (eye level).
He seemed to love having company and a few laps,
while we sang.
