My Week

A visit from relatives, who live in the BIG CITY of Seattle.
My brother, Steve, and sister-in-law, Jeanne,
stayed with us for a week.

It was fun to show them what a
small town looks like. But we mostly sat
around on the back porch and
talking, laughing and enjoying ourselves.

As a Thank You,
 for our hospitality,
they bought us some pretty, pink tulips.

These are what the tulips look like now.

Still so unique and beautiful!
(Just like my brother)

FARMERS MARKET
Who doesn't like a local Farmers Market?

Ila May and I went to our local market.
She was so much fun to be with,
as we explored each stall.

She kept telling me about a girl with a "big hat"
So we walked all over trying to find her.

We found her!
The Balloon Girl!
Ila May asked her for a pink Unicorn.

Notice she has her purse.
Such a girly-girl!

We took a break for some homemade, cherry, pie and

 some ice water!

Ila May has already requested
that we go again!

She's growing up so nicely.
On the way home we drove with the top down
on my Volkswagen Beetle,

So much fun!!

More Signs...

It's been awhile since I've
shared a post of just signs.
So here it is!

This is a sign we see on our way up to McCall.
I laugh every time I see it.

We have a new grocery store in the Boise area.
It's called the Albertson's  Market
For all of you who are in the area, it's a must see!
This cart is just inside the front door.

This church in downtown Nampa,
has such a great sense of humor.

This is a sign that we drove by in Nevada.
I can't pronounce it.
Can you?

It's (Ila) May Day!

Today we were surprised when we opened our front door.
There were flowers!
Nobody around!

This could only be the work of someone special!

ILA MAY,
our (almost) 8 year old grand daughter,
who's birthday is in May!
How appropriate she was the one, this year,
 to ring the doorbell.

Here she is after shopping with her mom.

She's FAST!!!!

Happy May Day!
Thank you Ila May and Kimmy!

Here's a little tid-bit about May baskets.
