Provance at home

Lavender and Sunflowers
by Hazel Baker

After reading the book, A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle,
I was inspired to create my own little Provence.

So this is my Provence.

We created this room by taking a small part of our two car garage.
The cabinets are from our kitchen remodel several years ago.
I have a long counter top that I use all the time. It's like a Butler's Pantry.
At one end is an office area.
The ceiling is painted a dark sky blue, walls are sunflower yellow and the trim is off-white.
All the colors of Provence!

True or False?

Chewing gum take seven years to pass through the human digestive system.

Have you ever wonder if what you heard was real or not?
Now you can check it out.
This web site tells it all, here.

Mary, Mary, Mary -Thank You!

Thank You Mary!

Today I received a surprise in the mail!

No, not my birthday. A friendship package for me!

Mary at Corners Of My Life sent me these two beautiful handmade hats.

Tom and I both put them on right away and took pictures for you.

We love them (and they are quite warm).
A perfect Valentine's Day gift!

Thank you Mary.
You are a good friend and I LOVE visiting your blog!
Please join me over at Corner of My Life.
