Apples, Apples, Apples

I usually don't post recipes but this one is Sooooo Gooood!

And it's easy, a recipe from Susan Branch, apples are in season, well I could go on.

Trust me!

Apple Crisp
(Susan Branch)
375 Serves Six
About 4 medium , peeled, sliced , tart apples (Granny Smith)
3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C flour
1/2 C oats
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3C softened butter
Preheat oven. Butter a square baking pan. Place the apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over apples. Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
To remove crayon stains from glass, porcelain, Formica, metal , plastic, no-wax vinyl floors, painted walls. painted wood, scrabble wallpaper, tile chalkboard and marble, spray surface to be cleaned with WD-40 and wipe with a soft cloth. If a residue remains add liquid dish washing detergent into water, wash the surface with a sponge, working in a circular motion and rinse. Repeat as needed.
