Getting Closer... Much Closer!

This is our son Todd, in front of their home, last year.

This is Todd & Stephanie's New Home!

They both obtained new jobs in the Seattle.
So they bought a home up in Seattle area!
Their new home is only 17 miles and 25 minutes from our home.
(Yes, I timed it and measured!)

Today was moving day!

There were five cars and trucks packed and
ready to caravan up north.

Todd is ready to lead all of us on this long one hour trip, in the rain.

Almost there! I see the truck.

Yes, that's Todd with a smile on his face!

Thanks family and friends!

Sealed with a Kiss!

  6. How excited you must be to have them so close to home!! It's how I felt when we moved from California back to Missouri and only 40 minutes from my Mom and Dad.
Looks like they found a wonderful home!

  7. Beautiful house! Happy for you that they are living close to you! What a Blessing!

  8. Moving is no fun, but looks like you guys made it more fun than usual ... food ... friends. I wish the couple a lifetime of memories in their new home.

  9. Oh how very wonderful for you! And it's such a cute house, too!

  10. I'm so happy for you that your son is so much closer. :)
That's almost the exact same distance that it used to be and became as it was for us when we moved home. Well, we are only about a mile from my parents and a little less than twenty minutes from K's parents. :) SOOOO much better than the old drive that was about an hour and a half. :)
I hope you enjoyed the pizza. It looks yummy. Moving is HARD. Pizza has never been so well-deserved. :) :) :)

  11. My girls both live very close to me and I can't imagine it being any other way.I'll bet you're happy as can be. Lovely new house too.

  12. There is something so rewarding about family and friends undertaking a huge project like moving. Pizza is a good reward for all your efforts. I really like the looks of their new home.
