Simple Pleasure-Butterfly

Butterfly in flight

It was one of those rare moments.

I was working in our garden, when I saw this beautiful butterfly, fluttering around.

I ran for my camera, in true blogger fashion.

Oh Goodness, HOW did you manage to catch that? I have tried and tried to catch butterflies, and the little suckers always get away.

Simply amazing! I wish we had more butterflies around here. Maybe one of these years I'll plant a butterfly-attractomg garden. :)

Hi Christine,
I had to laugh when you said you ran for the camera in true blogger style...that is so true!! I don't leave home without my camera in my purse because I might miss a great photo for my blog :)

That one is beautiful...we so enjoyed our butterflies this year, watching all the stages, letting them hatch and releasing them...I think they have all left because of our heat
