Art Gallary

What do you do with ALL the drawings that you get from
your children or grandchildren?
I don't have the heart to throw them away.
I love each one!

We started taping them up on a door
and when we ran out of room,
it started down the hallway wall.

Now that wall is full!

So, down off the walls, the artwork will come.
 Then into 3-ringed notebooks.
Each grandchild will get their very own binder.

Eventually, I'll give them their binders.
They will be full of fun memories and their
drawings that they had drawn for
Papa and me!

Right now,
 I'm still sorting them out
 by grandchild.
Oops!
I only have two notebooks.
Looks like I need more!
At least 5 more!

  2. That is a great idea. Even professional art galleries change their exhibits now and then. How cool to save them to give to them later. I wish someone had done that for me.

  3. Eventually I started curating the artwork, keeping only the best. Otherwise I'd have an entire basement full!

    Aren't grandchildren just the BEST!

Loved your article about voting too. You are so right........we have to exercise our vote
no matter how hard it is.......
and since people can get absentee ballots there is NO reason not to vote!!

    Have a lovely weekend,
    Blessings, Nellie

  10. Oh wow! Your grandkids sure love to draw! I remember when I hated to throw away my children's art work. I got large albums with plastic page protectors and placed their work in them. I also got a box for each of them to save they most special art work projects. It is hard work to make sure you give honor and respect to each piece of art, isn't it! LOL :)

  11. Christine, yes, Utah is a beautiful place. We love living here. I like your idea to save the grand kids art in binders. We did that with our own children and we love looking at some of the old letters and pictures even still. Grand kids are the best, aren't they?
