Tom and I are having our kitchen and
living room remodeled.
To do so, we had to move ALLLLL our
kitchen items and living room furniture.
This is the view of our living spaces.
Living room on the left and kitchen on the right.
We have been blessed to have great weather
and
a h-u-g-e covered patio!
Living room
All our "real" furniture has been stowed
away in our office and garage.
Kitchen
We have our coffee maker, lamp, cutting board and dishes,
set up under our bedroom window.
from our bed!
It's a blessing that we can use our refrigerator on the patio.
We have all our meals outside.
Dining Al fresco.
Another blessing!
Sneak peek of what is going on, inside...
I got to get a couple of good swings in before
the guys took over!

Oh, been there, done that and lived to tell about it. Living in a remodel is tough but well worth it in the end. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteOh my, how exciting this is! I love dining outside, and how fun that at least you can do your cooking and dining outside during the summer months! Will look forward to seeing the pictures of your remodeling work, love the picture of you swinging the hammer! Hugs and blessings :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so professional swinging that hammer. It must be hard "living" outside. Hurray for good weather and summer. Can't wait to see the finished product.
ReplyDeleteI love your covered patio! And....you can cook out there like that! So neat. Girl, my husband would be a nervous wreck if he saw me swinging a hammer! LOL! But being a lefty he thinks I do everything backwards anyway. (Smile) Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeleteIt's like camping but with such a fun outcome! We have done this before too. It's a little bit comical to see your things on the patio. Right? :)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha .... very comical!!!
DeleteOh, my goodness, Christine. You are so cute with that hammer! Your kitchen on the patio reminds me of when Dennis and I were at the tail end of building our little cottage and for several weeks we slept in one of the bedrooms on an inflatable mattress on the floor, and cooked all our meals on the breezeway. It was like camping. Hah! Tom and you are such a great team. I can't wait to see the remodel. Have fun! Hugs, Nancy

ReplyDeleteOh Christine, it is going to be so beautiful when you are through! You go girl with those good swings!! :) Remodeling can be a pain, but what a blessing when it is done. Can't wait to see! Dining Al fresco is the best!
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I love your attitude. Instead of whining about the inconvenience of living in the midst of the remodel, you are choosing to see beauty in it---dining alfreso indeed!
ReplyDeleteAre you still in Nampa?
Thanks for stopping by and for your condolences on the loss of my mother-in-law.
Blessings,
Patti
