All Things Girly

We had two grand daughters
spend the day with us.

(Giggles, Tea Parties, Dress-up and lipstick)

I brought down, from the attic,
my box of Peignoirs and negligees that I have collected.

Years ago, I would see these beautiful gowns, hanging in thrift stores.
I loved them!

When ever I saw one hanging on a rack,
I would buy it.
I have to tell you, I have quite a collection!
Probably over twenty!
Most of them have robes
but several are just really beautiful gowns.
Each is so Girly and fancy.

Who knew my grand daughters would fall in love with them, too!

That day our living room
turn into the staging area.
Our bedroom into the changing room!

And then the fashion show started...

Giggles and laughter!

They tried them on, one by one.

They each found their favorite gown.

Then the accessories came out...
fans, jewelry, hankies, fake flowers and anything else that
could be added.

Yes, it was a Girly Day.

The day was topped off by going out to dinner and driving with the top down!

🌷    💄

The next day I hung them in the sunshine
to admire one more time before they went back
into the box.

I wish I could show you ALL of them but it would be
a picture overload!

Ahhhhh.... to be Girly is a splendid thing!
