New kitchen tea towels...
Lots of ribbon...
You got yourself an apron.
Shhhh... these are going to be some of my
Christmas presents.
I found this blog, My Spare Time. The cutest aprons!
Sew simple!
Took me half hour from start to finish and do this post!
And the possibilities are endless!!
A clean cardboard mild carton with the top cut off (gallon size) makes a great storage file for all you patterns.
If the pull tab on a zipper comes off, replace it with a small paper clip. Wind thread or fine yarn around the clip in a color to match the garment fabric.

  1. Very cute! I like that it has a pocket! You're working on
    Christmas presents? Good for you!

  2. Well isn't that the cutest thing? I love aprons, and wear them.

  3. What a great idea and a simple one at that. Have a great day... Jude

  7. Just found your blog and I had to smile, as I just finished an apron yesterday. This sort of apron would also be great for kids, I'm thinking...

  9. Oooohhh. I like! You're right -- what wonderful presents this would make. I wish a person could wear aprons like to the mall and such as an accessory. They're so darling.

  10. Now isn't that just the cutest idea. I'd need a lot of ribbon to go twice around my waist!

  11. It looks like you had FUN! And what treasures to find under a Christmas tree...

  12. What a great idea. Simple, fun and useful.

  13. Your creativity is inspiring. These are the cutest aprons. Lucky recipients at the ones who receive these as gifts.
