How much fun can you have?
Plenty!
As many of you know, I take care of Trey on Tuesdays.
Trey is the fourth of the
five grandchildren we have.
Trey is our son's, son.
Trey turned two the end of August.
About two weeks ago when
I was taking care of him, out of the BLUE,
he kept saying, "Ommie!"
Being two years old, the verbal skills are just coming into use.
I had no idea what he was talking about.
But the word was very clear, Ommie.
Over and over, he kept saying it.
Dah!!!
He was calling me!
He had just given me my nick name.
(I hoping it would happen.)
Just like when Lulu gave me a
nick name,
Grammie Goo
It's so cute when a child gives you an endearing name.
You just never know what it will be.
I am thrilled to be known as
Grammie Goo and now, Ommie!

"He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like ealges,They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary."
Isaiah 40:29-31
That verse was in my Bible study reading this week. Such a good one!
