We moved!
My son-in-law Mark,
drove this moving truck, towing my car, to Idaho.
I rode in the big, red, van with Kimmy and kids.
This was Part II, of our move.
The final move!
No more Glorified Camping.
Between getting new carpet and unpacking all the boxes,
every hour has been filled with joy.
Not to mention spending time with our precious grandchildren.
Lulu turned eight!
A year ago, I promised I'd be with her to celebrate,
not knowing we'd be her new neighbors!
Tom is still back in Redmond (insert sad face)
fixing, painting and
cleaning up the Cottage for the new renter.
He will be arriving this week.
Then the fun begins!
Good Morning Nampa!
This is a partial view of our new backyard.
More to come....
(when I have time)
Rejoice always; pray without ceasing;
in everything give thanks;
for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
Hurray for the move! I know you are so happy being in your new home. Even better when Tom gets there. I'm looking forward to hearing all about the new places you will discover. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteIt's good to know that you are getting settled and almost everyone is together. Your new home is lovely and I like your patio and backyard. God sure laid all this out for you guys and I know you're truly thankful for His blessings. I have my daughter and little ones here to visit us while she gets a new kitchen. I am having lots of fun too! I'm away from blogging, but glad to keep up with you. Load of hugs and good wishes. You deserve it!
ReplyDeleteI know you are relieved to be in your new home, and nearly settled. It is a beautiful time of year, and that back yard looks really inviting. I know you will enjoy it this summer.

ReplyDeleteAs I read through your posts this morning, I feel filled with joy for you. I am sure this must be a fun new adventure for you and your husband. The smile on your 8 year old granddaughter's face, must now be a permanent fixture, to have you next door. The picture you shared from your back door, is beautiful! And, the marriage saver on your lap, still has me smiling, because I can totally relate:) Thanks so much for sharing your adventure and your joy with us.
ReplyDeleteFeeling joy for you in so many ways. Life changes at our age keep us young (tired but young). My only sadness is that you won't be in Seattle when I am there this summer.
